Example terms for use of CRS Test System

Test environment: All portal content on CRS Test System (crstestsystem.co.za) is fictional test data (not real learners, staff, or schools). Legal entity and contact details below are example data only.

1. Agreement

By accessing CRS Test System you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the portal. Schools may impose additional policies that apply to their users.

2. Service description

The portal provides school administration, teaching, and learning tools. Features depend on your role and school configuration. We may modify features with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Accounts and security

  • You must keep login credentials confidential and notify your school if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • You must provide accurate information and use the portal only for lawful school-related purposes.
  • We may suspend access to protect security or comply with law.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Attempt to breach security, scrape data without authorization, or interfere with other users.
  • Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
  • Use the portal for unsolicited marketing without explicit consent mechanisms required by law.

5. Intellectual property

Software, branding, and documentation remain the property of Coded Roots Software (Pty) Ltd and its licensors. Content you upload remains subject to school policies; you grant the rights needed to operate the service.

6. Privacy and PAIA

Processing of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Access to information requests are handled under our PAIA Manual.

7. Availability and liability

The portal is provided on an "as is" basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to direct damages arising from our gross negligence.

External links (if any) are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Courts in Gauteng have jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
